Telehealth is counseling with your counselor through video and audio connection. This is done online with internet access from your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
Yes! I have a signed agreement with and utilize Google Meet for telehealth visits. The signed agreement provides a secure, safe, and confidential video and audio format that is HIPPA compliant for privacy in practice.
It depends. Some insurance companies and/or specific plans cover Telehealth. Some have only covered Telehealth during emergency declarations during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It will be your responsibility to talk with your insurance provider as to the coverage of Telehealth counseling.
At this time, Whole Balance Wellness & Counseling is not credentialed with insurance companies and will not be billing insurance (this is in the process of being established but it takes time to get set up). As a courtesy, you are welcome to request a Superbill to submit to your insurance company, but what you may be reimbursed or how it will affect a deductible cannot be guaranteed and you are encouraged to consult with your insurance provider about that process.
